Robert L. Cross 1936-2003 Obituary
Robert L. Cross, 70, a resident of Canton, Ohio, died at his home on Monday, Aug. 11, 2003, after a long illness.
He was born Oct. 7, 1936, in Belington, the son of the late Pearl and Audna Hall Cross.
His wife of 36 years, Evelyn Boseman Cross, survives in Canton, Ohio.
Also surviving are one son, Joseph A. Cross of Canton, Ohio; one daughter, Robin Ball of Florida; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Hill of Belington and Edna Gertrude Cross of Louisville, Ohio; and six brothers, Elmer Cross, Orland “Jack” Cross and Richard Cross of Canton, Ohio, Kenny Cross of Louisville, Ohio, and Johnny Cross and Charles Cross of Belington.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Dorsey Cross.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Stringtown Cemetery in Belington. The Rev. Byron Headley will officiate.
