Ronald K. Hamrick 1934-2003 Obituary
Ronald Kent Hamrick, 69, of Gainesville, Fla., died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, at his home.
He was born in Webster Springs on April 30, 1934, the son of the late Odie Lee and Monna Grace Chipps Hamrick.
He was a graduate of Webster Springs High School in 1952. He served in the U.S. Navy for eight years and the U.S. Air Force for eight years.
He was a bookkeeper for Hogan’s Heroes in Gainesville, Fla.
He was a Methodist by faith.
He is survived by three sons, Ronald “Chip” Hamrick, and Mark Hamrick of Camarillo, Calif., and Jeffrey Hamrick of Texas; four sisters, Betty Smith of Fairmont, Mrs. Paul (Anne) Sutch of Mentor, Ohio, Mrs. John (Dixie) Kennedy and Vera Marple of Buckhannon; five grandchildren and 10 nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at a later date at Heavener Cemetery in Buckhannon.
