Rosalie Louk Gordon, 84, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life, Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, in Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center.
Rosalie was born Sunday, Jan. 27, 1929, at Beverly, a daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Louk and Mary Elizabeth Hill Louk.
In 1963, at Covington, Va., she married Edward Gordon, who preceded her in death in 1997. They enjoyed 34 years of marriage.
Others left to cherish her memory are her brother, Robert Louk of Mill Creek; her sister, Revedean Sponaugle and husband, Lewis, of Innwood; nephew Willard “Bill” Mauller Jr. of Elkins; and several other nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death besides her parents and her husband were three brothers, Ralph and Ray Louk and Neil Stalnaker; and one sister, Ruby Mauller.
Rosalie worked for several restaurants and retired in 1997 as the food service manager of Kmart in Covington, Va. She enjoyed reading and loved to visit with family and friends.
Mrs. Gordon was transported to Cedar Hill Cemetery in Covington, Va., for a graveside service.
