Roseann (Lamont) Eye 1962-2021 Obituary
Roseann Lamont Eye, 59, of Eglon, WV, and formerly of Thomas, WV, passed away on January 1, 2022, at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born in Cleveland, OH, to the late Phillip Joseph and Lois Mae (McDowell) Lamont.
Roseann was a graduate of Tucker Co. High School. She had a passion for cooking, both as a career and cooking for her family, who viewed her as a true chef. She enjoyed fishing and hunting. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends, whether it be watching movies with them, taking roads trips, or taking the occasional night off from cooking and going out to dinner with them.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Eye; two daughters, Abbey Danielle Eye and Carley Brooke Eye; two grandchildren, Braeley Rose Bryant and Lois Leighton Bryant; and one sister, Jo Jo Pregley and husband Pat; two nieces, Mandy DelSignore and husband John and Stacey Taylor and husband Derek; one nephew, Chad Pregley and wife Erin; three great nieces and three great nephews.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022, from 4 to 7 pm at Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home. A Funeral Service Mass will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, January 6th, 2022, at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Father Tom Gills as celebrant. Interment will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Thomas, WV. Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home is honored to serve the family at this time.
