Roselyn Ann Ogden, age 65, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins, WV. She was born July 17, 1944 in Audra, WV, a daughter of the late Paul and Hazel Phillips Clark. On December 26, 1962 she married Rev. Richard D. Ogden who survives. Also, surviving are one son, Richard E. Ogden and wife Lisa of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Leslie Ogden of Elkins; one grandson, Matthew Ogden of Buckhannon; three brothers, Russell Clark of Appomattox, VA, Arkie Clark of West Palm Beach, FL and James Clark of Leavenworth, KS and one sister, Patti Clark Burk of Sterling, CO. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Paul Clark, Jr. and Richard, Billy and Roy Howard Clark her twin and four sisters, Irene Clark Gunnerson, Bonnie Clark Holland, Deloris Tostie Austry and Marie Clark Alexander. Rose was a former employee of Wal-mart, she loved her work and greatly missed her friends after she had to stop working because of her health. She loved doing crafts, painting and working in her flowerbeds. She never gave up. Everyday she had a mission to complete. She loved the smile she would get when she would give one of her little crafts away. She was a very strong believer in God and was very quick tell people about her Lord and God. In her final days she found comfort in singing “Jesus Loves Me”. She served as a United Methodist Minister’s Wife for 35 years, a life of many trials. Friends will be received Thursday, December 3, 2009 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Ken A. Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery at Hinkleville, WV. Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
