Roslyn Pearl Olsen, 79, a resident of Buckhannon, WV, formerly of St. Augustine , FL, entered into eternal rest Monday April 26, 2010 at home surrounded by family. She was born Monday March 2, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of the late Oscar and Anna Greenstein Schiff. The most important things in Roslyn’s life were God, family and her love of music. She was of the Jewish faith. She was a world class pianist , teacher and a graduate of Julliard School of Music. Roslyn was a former township committee woman and police commissioner of Jackson Township , NJ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Harold Olsen and one sister: Harriett Roth. Left to cherish Roslyn’s memories are one son: Warren Keller and wife Christine of Buckhannon, WV and one daughter: Lisa Keller and companion James Sloat of Marina del Ray, CA. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday April 29, 2010 at Congregation Sons of Israel Holocaust Chapel on Ramsey and East 7th Street in Lakewood, NJ with Rabbi Tendler officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Sinai Cemetery on Ramsey and East 7th Street in Lakewood , NJ.
