Roy “June” Mallow Jr., 42, of Thomas, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2002. Death was sudden and unexpected.
He was born Dec. 9, 1959, in Harman, a son of Sylvia Jean Davis Mallow and the late Roy Mallow Sr.
Surviving are his wife, Christine Dawn Paugh Mallow, whom he married on Aug. 1, 1992; one son, Warren Grant Mallow; one daughter, Marjorie Isabelle Mallow, both of Powhatan, Va.; one brother, Leroy Mallow; two sisters, Peggy McBee and Bonnie White, all of Red Creek; two nieces and two nephews, Kevin and Jenny McBee and Emily and Logan White.
Mr. Mallow was employed by the city of Thomas serving as street supervisor and water plant operator class ID. He was a member of Thomas Volunteer Fire Department, FOE 936 and Mountain Top Hunt Club.
Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home in Davis Friday from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Hinkle Funeral Chapel on Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Eli Hostetler officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
