Ruby Catherine Cline, 90, formerly of Parsons and more recently of Northampton Nursing Home in Frederick, Md., died Wednesday morning, Feb. 20, 2002, in the nursing home. She had been in declining health.
Mrs. Cline was born Feb. 5, 1912, in St. George, a daughter of the late Richard Loughry and Flora Robinson Loughry.
On June 3, 1934, she married Dewey R. Cline, who preceded her in death on Dec. 3, 1987.
Surviving are a son, Don R. Cline and wife, Jan, Frederick, Md.; a granddaughter, Laura J. Cline, Reisterstown, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was preceded in death by two sons, James D. Cline and John E. Cline; seven brothers, Woodrow, Tom, Adam, Elmer, Clarence, Amer and Floyd; and two sisters, Alta Nestor and Ova Nestor.
Mrs. Cline was a homemaker. She attended the one-room school in St. George. She was a member of the Tucker County Senior Center and the Goldenaires of the center. She was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church in Parsons.
Funeral Arrangements: Friends will be received at Barb & Greenlief Funeral Home Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home parlor Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Leon Hevener officiating. Interment will follow in Parsons City Cemetery in Parsons
