Russell L. Lane, 69, of Buckhannon, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, at the Clarksburg Nursing and Rehab Center in Clarksburg.
He was born Feb. 17, 1951, in Buckhannon, a son of the late Oran and Pauline Casto Lane.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Douglas Lane.
Mr. Lane is survived by one son, William Lane and wife, Keri, of Buckhannon; two daughters, Katrina Lindamood and husband, Chad, and Betsy Ritz and husband, Tony, all of Tennessee; four granddaughters, Makayla Daughtery and husband, Kody, of Buckhannon, and Gabriella, Rachel and Violet Ritz, all of Tennessee; two grandsons, Cadin and Cody Riffle, both of Tennessee; and one sister, Wanda Sue Houghton and husband, Lonnie.
Mr. Lane was a coal miner and farmer.
A private graveside service will be held for the family.
Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
