Sandra L. Minniti 1941-2022 Obituary
Sandra L. Minniti, age 80, of Hacker Valley, WV died on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.
She was born on February 17, 1942, in Webster County, a daughter of the late Walter and Maxine (Bickel) Cogar.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James “Jim” Minniti on November 24, 2011.
She is survived by one son Terry Harper of Hacker Valley, WV; one daughter Kim Harper of Prarieville, Louisiana; one stepdaughter Paula Heflin of Haywood, WV; two granddaughters: Kaylee and husband Zachary Channell of Lost Creek, WV and Melony and husband Nicholas Gezymalla; one great grandson A.J. Gezymalla of Fort Campbell, KY; two brothers: Allen and wife Pauline Cogar of Newville, WV and Timothy and wife Marcia Cogar of Rock Cave; one sister Donna and husband Don Boggs of Hacker Valley, WV; several nieces and nephews; and several others who have adopted Sandra as their mother and grandmother.
Sandra was a faithful attendant of the Independent Baptist Church of Cleveland, WV where she enjoyed the children very much and you would often see her handing out candy to them.
She was a kindhearted person that always thought of others before herself. She enjoyed quilting and gifting those to other people, along with gardening, canning, and baking and sharing her goods with many to enjoy.
Graveside services and interment will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the Replete Cemetery with Pastor Chris Cosner officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Independent Baptist Church of Cleveland Mission Fund at 106 Mt. Zion Rd., Cleveland, WV 26215.
