Ms. Sandra Mae Delauder, 56, a resident of the Hunters Fork Community near Belington, departed this life Wednesday Jan. 13, 2021, in the Davis Medical Center, at Elkins. Death was following a period of declining health.
She was born Oct, 27, 1964, at Philippi, a daughter of the late Charles William and Carrie Lee Tenney Delauder, who survives in Belington. She had never married.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by three sisters, Kathy Summerfield and husband, Glenn, Pamela K. Delauder and Christina Phillips and husband, Jeffrey, of Belington. Also surviving are two nieces, Samantha Sullivan and Amanda Talbott and husband, Ronnie; two nephews, Jeffrey Summerfield and Justin Delauder and fiancee, Ashley, all of Belington. Great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.
Sandra was a graduate from the Philip Barbour High School with the class of 1983. She was a member of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall and employed as a in home health care worker.
She loved to spend time with her family and raising her niece and nephew as her own. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A private family visitation will be at the Talbott Funeral Home in Belington on Monday, Jan. 18 2021, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a private service will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Larry Poling officiating. Interment will follow in the Lambert Chapel Cemetery near Belington.
