Mrs. Sandra Sue “Sandy” Robinson Hill age 75 years a resident of Belington departed this life Sunday Morning November 22, 2020 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown following a period of declining health.
She was born June 6, 1945 at Barbour County WV, a Daughter of the late Dorsey Lee and Hazel Leona Ramsey Robinson. On October 29th 1963 at Elkins, WV, she was united in marriage to Carl Dwain Hill Sr. who preceded her in death on June 24, 2016.
Mrs. Hill is survived by one son Carl Dwain “CD” Hill Jr. of Belington, one grandson Dalton D. Hill and companion Chelsey Hammonds of Belington, one sister Carolyn Ketterman of Winchester, VA, one brother Pete Robinson of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one sister; Bonnie Robinson, three brothers; Monk Robinson, Kenneth Robinson and William “Bill” Robinson.
Sandy attended the schools of Barbour County and was a member of the Sugar Creek United Methodist Church. She was previously employed by Sheetz from which she retired. She was a member of the VFW Laurel Mt. Post #410 Woman’s Auxiliary and the American Legion Post #96 Women’s Auxiliary both of Belington. She loved to volunteer her time with various ministries through the Methodist church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A private family visitation will be at the Talbott Funeral Home in Belington on Wednesday November 25, 2020 with a graveside service to be conducted from the Sugar Creek Cemetery at 1:00 pm with the Rev.
