Sharon Lynn Fincham 1947-2022 Obituary
Sharon Lynn Coontz Fincham, age 74 years, a resident of Elkins, WV passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at her residence under the care of Mountain Hospice. She was born March 28, 1947 in Elkins, a daughter of the late Ralph Q. Coontz and Ruby V. Findley Coontz. On June 18, 1983 she was married to Willard “Keith” Fincham who survives in Elkins. She is also survived by one brother, Warren L. Coontz and wife Cindy and by her brothers and sisters- in- law; Doyle M. Fincham, David L. Fincham and wife Debbie, Sheila K. Johnson, Shelley D. Hyre and husband Craig. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Fincham was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Larry D. Fincham, Joe Johnson and one sister –in- law, Cindy Fincham. Sharon attended the schools of Randolph County and was employed at Davis Medical Center as a Medical Technician prior to her retirement. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 14, 2022 at the Mountain State Memorial Gardens near Gilman with Rev. Brian Seders officiating. Masks and social distancing is recommended for those attending the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions are made to the Randolph County Humane Society, P. O. Box 785, Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Sharon. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Sharon Lynn Coontz Fincham.
