Sheila Kay Sturdivant Lawrence 1961-2022 Obituary
Sheila Kay Sturdivant Lawrence, 60, a resident of Beverly, passed from this life Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the Davis Medical Center.
Sheila was born Friday, July 21, 1961, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Allen Sturdivant and Julia Kerens Sturdivant. On October 18, 1985, in Elkins, she was married to Leslie Lawrence who survives. They had celebrated thirty-six years of marriage.
Also left to cherish her memory are two children, Chasity Leary and Leslie Lawrence, Jr., two sisters, Elizabeth Hickman and husband, Chris, and Rosannna Howell, three grandchildren, Cody Lawrence and wife, Kendra Bender, Joshua Leary, and Jasmine Leary, two great grandchildren, Cole Lawrence and Kiara Lawrence, three nephews, D.W. Howell, Todd Sturdivant, and Allen White, one brother-in-law, Junior Lawrence, two sisters-in-law, Rose Fortney and Barbara Lambert, and her dachshund, Snickers.
Sheila attended the schools of Randolph County and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, camping, and doing jigsaw puzzles. Her family was very precious to her and she enjoyed staying home to take care of them.
Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, from 1PM until 2PM, the funeral hour. Interment will follow in the K of P Cemetery in Junior.
