Sherman Edward Hamrick 1940-2022 Obituary
Sherman Edward Hamrick, 81, a resident of Mingo, passed from this life Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Holbrook on the Hill in Buckhannon.
Sherman was born October 21, 1940, in Bergoo, a son of the late Ty Hamrick and Monna Gay Hamrick. He married the former Margaret Louise Cable who preceded him in death January 14, 2021.
Left to cherish his memory are two children, Cynthia Hamrick of McKeys Rocks, PA, and Michael Hamrick of Kirkland, IL, six grandchildren, Tyler Hamrick of Oshkosh, WI, Amanda Hamrick of Dekalb, IL, Breanna Hamrick of Kirkland, IL, Ethan and Evan Hamrick of Marlinton, and Cody Wood of Williamsport, PA.
Preceding him in death besides his parents and wife were two children, Gathel Wood and Sherman K. Hamrick, and one half sister, Frances Loughry.
Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 11 am until Noon, the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Mingo Cemetery.
