Stephen A. Corley 1975-2003 Obituary
Stephen A. Corley, 28, of Beverly Pike, Belington, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, May 21, 2003, at his home.
He was born April 12, 1975, at Elkins, a son of Jackson W. Corley, who survives at Junior, and Cassandra Ann (Harris) Fanel, who survives at Odum, Ga.
Also surviving are one sister, Lynda Michelle Corley, Odum, Ga.; a foster brother, Michael A. Shamblin U.S.N., Norfolk, Va.; and his paternal grandmother, Nina V. (Igo) Corley, Dartmoor.
He was also preceded in death by an infant brother, John Paul Corley.
Mr. Corley was a graduate of Philip Barbour High School and had attended West Virginia University. He was currently employed at Lee Wood Products at Belington. He was an avid and self-taught guitarist and enjoyed performing with a local band.
Friends may call at Schoonover-Stemple Funeral Chapel in Belington from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday when funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Doyle N. Rider officiating. Interment will follow in the Belington Fraternal Cemetery.
