Stephen Todd Helmick, infant son of the Rev. Jerry Lee Helmick Jr. and Rogina Faye Foster Helmick of Parsons, departed this life at birth at 2 a.m. Thursday, June 27, 2002, in Davis Memorial Hospital at Elkins
Also surviving are two brothers, Caleb Scott Helmick and Joshua Lee Helmick, both at home; paternal grandparents, Jerry Lee Helmick Sr. and Rebecca Ann Carr Helmick, St. George; maternal grandparents, the Rev. Roger Lee Foster and Byrd Casto Day Foster, Elkins; paternal great-grandparents, Clarence Helmick, Mt. Zion, Troy and Mona White Carr, Hendricks; maternal great-grandmother, Mary Foster, Huron, Ohio; one uncle, Roger Harrison Foster and wife, Candida, Elkins; two aunts, Melissa Belle Foster, Elkins, and Sarah Elizabeth Cunningham and husband, Timothy, Beverly.
He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandmother, Helen Marie Rosier; maternal great-grandparents, Benjamin and Ora Day; and two uncles, Scott Lynn Helmick and Roger Lee Foster Jr.
Graveside services will be at 5 p.m. today at Mt. Zion Cemetery at St. George. The Rev. Roger Lee Foster and the Rev. Weese Day will officiate and interment will follow. The Barb & Greenlief Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
