STEVEN FLOYD DASHER Steven Floyd Dasher, 50, of Belington, died unexpectedly on Friday, July 6, 2012 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown. He was born December 7, 1961, at Fairfax, Va., a son of the late Wayne Leo Dasher and the late Elizabeth Leona “Betty” (Jones) Dasher. Surviving are one daughter, Miranda Kalvesmaki, Philippi; one son, Steven Dasher; his longtime companion, Delores McCoy, Belington; three sisters, Peggy Black, Dandridge, Tenn., Susan Dasher, Morristown, Tenn., Kathy Pond, Linden, Va.; five brothers, Wayne Anthony Dasher, Front Royal, Va., Leo Dasher Edinburg, Va., Gary Dasher, Talbott, Tenn., Robert Dasher, Poquoson, Va., Vincent Dasher, Williamsburg, Va.; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Joann Dasher and Donna Jean Dasher and by one brother, Richard Dasher. Mr. Dasher was a former automotive mechanic and was Baptist by faith. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 12, 2012, the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home, 385 South Main Street, Philippi. The Rev. David Brown will officiate and interment will follow in the Barbour Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday and from 9:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., the funeral hour, on Thursday.
