Thomas W. Ramsey 1946-2002 Obituary
Thomas W. Ramsey, 55 of Sutton, WV died in Heartland of Charleston on July 5, 2002 following an extended illness.
He was born October 25, 1946 in Braxton County, the son of the late Charles and Mildred Hoover Ramsey.
He was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator.
Mr. Ramsey was a graduate of Sutton High School with the class of 1964 and he was a Methodist by faith.
Also preceding him in death were one sister, Jean and an infant brother.
He is survived by 1 son, John Michael Carder of Rosedale; 1 step daughter, Carol Joyce Hamrick of Zanesville, OH; 5 brothers, James Ramsey of Richmond, OH; Charles Ramsey of Bloomingdale, OH; Robert Ramsey of Athens, OH; Perry Ramsey of Akron, OH; and Ivan Ramsey of Stow, OH; and one sister, Edna Ivanoff of Columbus, OH.
Also surviving is one step-grandson.
Graveside services were held Monday, July 8 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ramsey Cemetery near Servia, WV with Rev. Bill Griffin officiating.
