Troy Delbert Daniels 1932-2022 Obituary
Troy Delbert Daniels, 89, a resident of Mill Creek, passed from this life Friday, January 14, 2022, at home surrounded by family and friends and under the care of Mountain Hospice.
Troy was born Saturday, July 30, 1932, in Middle Fork, a son of the late Joseph Daniels and Sylvia Myrtle Gould Daniels. On December 4, 1955, he married the former Cora Mae Daniels who preceded him in death on December 19, 2020. They had celebrated 65 years of marriage.
Left to cherish his memory are three children, Carolyn Vandevender and husband Gene of Valley Bend, Calvin Daniels, Charlotte Ferrell and husband Mark, all of Mill Creek, three grandchildren, Jessica George and husband Matt, Steven Daniels and companion Samantha Friel and son Eli Lee, Craig and Emily Daniels, four great-grandchildren, Brenna and Shelby George, Molly and Liam Daniels, and one brother, Henry Daniels and wife Mary.
Preceding him in death besides his parents and wife was one son, Clyde Daniels, one daughter in law, Brenda Daniels, three siblings, Evelyn Zirkle, Junior and Inole Daniels.
Troy attended the schools of Randolph County. He had been employed as a woodsman, worked in a gas station, and had also worked in a car dealership. Troy loved spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed flowers and working in the garden. Troy was Methodist by faith.
Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Saturday, January 22, 2022, from Noon until 1 pm, the funeral hour. Rev. Lonnie Daniels will officiate and interment will follow in Brick Church Cemetery in Huttonsville
