Viola Campbell 1920-2003 Obituary
Viola Campbell, 82, a resident of Elkins and a patient in Nella’s Nursing Home, passed away at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2003, in the nursing home.
She was born Nov. 15, 1920, in Randolph County, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Stella Folks Paugh.
On Nov. 7, 1952, she was married to John D. Campbell, who preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 1999.
Surviving are two sisters, Edith Hudson of Alabama and Sylvia Quinton of Virginia. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers and four sisters.
Mrs. Campbell wasa homemaker and was employed by Montgomery Ward for many years. She was Methodist by faith.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Elkins Memorial Gardens.
The Rev. Donald Lockhart will officiate and interment will follow.
The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Viola Campbell.
