Virginia Ann Riggleman Stalnaker, age 89 years, a resident of Montgomery, TX, passed away Tuesday morning, December 4, 2012 at the Conroe Regional Hospital at Conroe, TX. She was born December 14, 1922 at Monterville, WV, a daughter of the late Calvin Cecil Riggleman and the late Lettie Effie Hogan Riggleman. On March 28, 1946 at Elkins, she was married to Virgil Lambert Stalnaker, who preceded her in death April 28, 1995. She is survived by one son, James Andrew Stalnaker and wife Patty of Fairport, NY and one daughter, Barbara Ann Stalnaker Lundeen of Montgomery, TX. One brother, Newton F. Riggleman of Beverly, one brother-in-law, Charles Lewis of Beverly and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, George E. Riggleman, one sister, Janet Lewis and her son-in-law, John Lundeen . Mrs Stalnaker attended the schools of Randolph County and worked for many years for the Snyder Manufacturing Company prior to her retirement. She was a Protestant by faith. Friends may call from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, December 10th from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Leon Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the American Legion’s Little Arlington Cemetery near Elkins. Memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Hospice, 1600 Crim Ave., Belington, WV 26250.
