Virginia Bell Ginnie Talbott 1927-2002 Obituary
Virginia Bell “Ginnie” Talbott, 74, of 226 Camden Ave., Buckhannon, died Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at the home of her son, Judd, in Reedsville.
Mrs. Talbott was born July 18, 1927, in Randolph County, a daughter of the late William J. Kelley and Flora Rowan Kelley.
On Nov. 25, 1944, she married Oran Leo “Tobe” Talbott, who preceded her in death on May 8, 1992.
Surviving are four daughters, Josie and husband, Rex Tenney, Buckhannon, Linda and husband, George Lemons, Randolph County, Judith Brown-strader and husband, Larry, Kanawha Head, and Loretta Jean and husband, Dewey Stump, Weston; three sons, Leo Talbott and Dana and wife, Pamela Talbott, all of Buckhannon, and Judd Talbott, Reedsville; one sister, Helen Lee, Buckhannon; one brother, Rex Kelley, Buckhannon; two special friends, Ruth Wilfong, Buckhannon, and J.R. Stemple, Reedsville; one half sister, Pearl Williams, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Verlon Kelley, Ernest Kelley and Donnie Kelley; one sister, Estalene Tenney; two grandsons, Justin Suder and Zackery Hanna; one son-in-law, Delmas Steve Brown; and one half sister, Freda Tenney.
Mrs. Talbott was a homemaker. She was a member of Flora Rebekah Lodge No. 183 of Buckhannon and was a Methodist by faith
Friends will be received at Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Lloyd Tenney officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Union Church Cemetery in Buckhannon.
