VIRGINIA ELIZABETH BELL TIANO, age 90 years, a native of Randolph County, WV and more recently a resident of Cleveland, OH departed this life Friday March 8, 2013 at her daughter’s home in Cleveland, OH.
She was born Wednesday, September 27, 1922 at Mill Creek, WV a daughter of the late Thamer J. “T.J.” and Hettie Scott Bell. Surviving are one son, Christopher L. Tiano, Cleveland, OH; one daughter, Beth Tiano, Cleveland, OH; two sisters, Nana Mae Carpenter and husband Bill, Elkins; Gladys M. Perotti, Tombstone, AZ; three grandchildren, Joseph; and Tara Tiano; and Daniel Bell; four great grandchildren, Kristina; Alana; Brandon and Jason and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are one son, Gerald Tiano; and one brother, Ray J. Bell.
She was a graduate of Tygart Valley High School and Davis & Elkins College. In her early years she was a School Teacher at the Mill Creek Elementary School at Mill Creek.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 5 to 8 PM, Tuesday. Final Rites will be conducted at the funeral home, Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 11:30 AM. The Rev. Dr. Marvin L. Parli will officiate and interment will follow at the Mill Creek Cemetery at Mill Creek, WV.
