OBITUARY: VONDA ROSE MOORE Vonda Rose Moore, 57, of Rt. #4, Grafton, died Saturday morning, March 20, at the home of her sister, at Shiloh Community, following a six month illness. She was born July 9, 1952, at Kasson, a daughter of the late Nelson Albert and Bonnie Myrtle (Poling) Wilson. Survivors include two daughters, Kristal Metheney and husband, Robert, Belington, Hollie Moore and fiancé, Ernest Poling, Philippi; one son, Jason Scott Moore and wife, Crystal, Berryburg Community; four sisters, Harriet Fridley, Century, Sandra Kay Poling and husband, Terry, Shiloh Community, Marjorie B. Wolford, Bel Air, MD; Juanita Knotts and husband, Bob, Grafton; a half- sister, Mardene Grow in FL; a half-brother, Andrew Nestor, Belington; grandchildren, Jerin Moore, Devan Metheney, Justin Metheney, Katelyn Metheney, Dylan Metheney, Whitney Paig Moore, Chelsea Jade Moore and Alexis Nichole Hunt and her former husband, Jackie Moore, Galloway. Mrs. Moore was also preceded in death by a two brothers, Ethan A. Wilson and Lewis Albert Wilson and by a half-sister, Glenna Montgomery. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and a nurse’s aid at Rosewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Grafton. She was an avid flower and shrubbery gardener. She loved, her family, her grandchildren, her job and spring time. She formerly attended the Shiloh Church of the Brethren. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, March 23, from the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home, 385 South Main Street, Philippi. The Rev. Neil Parsons will officiate and interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Monday and from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon, the funeral hour, on Tuesday.
