Wanda June Tenney 1935-2012 Obituary
Wanda June Tenney, age 77 years, a resident of Norton, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Her death was unexpected.
She was born April 1, 1935 in Elkins, a daughter of the late Otis Ray Helmick and the late Elsie Koon Helmick.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David Tenney and wife Christina and their children, Felicia, Ashley and Meghann with whom she made her home at Norton.
Also surviving are two sisters, Madeline Tenney of Tenmile and Lucille Trembly of Virginia.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Dave, Dale and Holly Goodwin and two sisters, Mary White and Mildred Bodkins.
At Wanda’s request, her remains will be cremated.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Cremation Services were provided by Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins for Wanda June Tenney.
