Wanda Lee Shreve Moran 1934-2002 Obituary
Wanda Lee Shreve Moran, 67, of Route 4, Elkins, died at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002, in Davis Memorial Hospital.
She had been in declining health for the past two years and death was attributed to complications of leukemia.
Mrs. Moran was born Nov. 6, 1934, in Mill Creek, a daughter of the late Clifford Shreve and Viola Arbogast Shreve.
She married Monzel V. Moran, who preceded her in death in 1971.
Surviving are three daughters, Linda Sponaugle and husband, Bob, Elkins, Crystal Kimbleton and husband, Jeremy, Alpena, and Wilma “Sissy” Stough, York, Pa.; four brothers, David Shreve, York, Pa., Strader Shreve, Hedgesville, Franklin “Pete” Shreve, Elkins, and Roger Collins, Virginia Beach, Va.; three sisters, Margaret Webster, York, Pa., Shirley Lohr, Baltimore, Md., and Betty Nelson, York, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Megan and Chris Sponaugle, Alexandria Kimbleton, James, Carrie, Anna and Jennifer Stough; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Teirfelter, Dorothy Mae Shreve; and an infant grandson.
Mrs. Moran attended the one- room school at Shaver’s Run. She worked for the former Whiteway Produce and was a Protestant.
Funeral Arrangements: Friends will be received at Lohr-barb-vance Funeral Home today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Walter H. Blough officiating.
Interment will follow in the American Legion’s Little Arlington Cemetery in Cravensdale.
