OBITUARY: WHAYLON BROOKS CLEAVENGER Whaylon Brooks Cleavenger, 40, of Fayetteville, GA, died Tuesday, April 10, in Fayetteville. Death was attributed to heart failure. He was born August 25, 1971, at Clarksburg, a son of the late Brooks Cleavenger and the late Gloria Jean Moore. Surviving are two daughters, Miranda Alace Cleavenger, Fayetteville, Samantha Marco, Cleveland, Oh.; his long time companion, Rhonda Phillips, Fayetteville; his former wife, Heather Cleavenger, Fayetteville; four sisters, Brigetta McVicker, Myrtle Beach, NC, Carmella Cleavenger and Crystal Marsh, both of Charlotte, NC and Jeanie Bailey, Philippi. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Julie Dawn Haller. Mr. Cleavenger had been employed in residential construction and roofing. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed playing basketball. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 15, from the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home, 385 So. Main Street, Philippi. Pastor Howard Swick will officiate and interment will follow in the Knights of Pythias Mountain View Cemetery at Junior. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Saturday and from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M., the funeral hour, on Sunday.
