Willard “Bud” Hedrick, 89, of Onego, died Thursday, July 25, 2002, at the home of his daughter, Bonnie and Garland Raines in Onego.
He was born Nov. 30, 1912, in Onego, a son of the late Amby and Anna Kisamore Hedrick.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Macie Harper Hedrick, on April 28, 1992. Also preceding him in death were four sisters.
Mr. Hedrick was a farmer and carpenter. He attended Seneca United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one son, Sheldon W. Hedrick and wife, Paula, of Whitmer; one daughter, Bonnie L. Raines and husband, Garland, of Onego; three grandchildren, Matthew Hedrick of Whitmer, Robert “Bobby” Hedrick of Parsons, and Christina Raines of Onego; one stepgreat-grandson, Donald Davis of Parsons; two sisters, Vera Weese of Maysville, and Artie Harper of Warren, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Schaeffer Funeral Home today from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Saturday, Mr. Hedrick will be moved to Seneca Rocks United Methodist Church, where funeral services will be at 2 p.m. with Pastor Barbara K. Rexroad officiating. Interment will follow in North Fork Memorial Cemetery in Riverton.
