William Barrager, 64, a resident of Dailey, passed away Monday, Nov. 25, 2002, in Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born Sept. 19, 1938, in Pontiac, Mich.
He is survived by a long time and loving companion, Elizabeth Allen Wolfskill; his son, Bill, and wife, Lysette, of Wilkes-barre, Pa.; and daughter, Lori Sage of Carson, Calif.
Mr. Barrager was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a retired carpenter working at various jobs throughout the United States. He was an avid stamp and baseball card collector.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. today at Elkins Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Jonas Johnson Jr. will officiate. Members of the H.W. Daniels Post 29 American Legion will present the American flag and interment will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to a Hospice organization in memory of Mr. Barrager. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for William Barrager.
