William C. “Billy” Stalnaker, 63, of Elkins, WV passed away peacefully at Davis Memorial Hospital on November 8, 2020, with his loving sisters by his side.
He was born in Elkins, WV on December 22, 1956 to the late Calvin Stalnaker and Eleanor Currence Stalnaker.
Billy was affectionately cared for by his mother, Eleanor, and upon her death, Billy was compassionately cared for by his sisters until they were unable to do so.
In his earlier years, Billy attended the Adult Training Center and attended Elkins Church of the Nazarene. .
Billy leaves behind; his sisters: Bertie Stalnaker and Helen Louise Stalnaker, both of Elkins. In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Jacob & Leah Currence and paternal grandparents: Cecil and Bertie Barbe.
The family wishes to thank Nella’s Nursing Home for the care given to Billy over the last three years and Davis Memorial Hospital staff for his final days of care.
Billy’s family gathered and laid him to rest alongside his parents at Mountain State Memorial Gardens near Gilman, WV.
The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins was in charge of the arrangements for William C. “Billy” Stalnaker.
