THE REV. WILMA VIONA GREENAWAY MOORE, age 96 years, a resident of the Stalnaker Run Community, Elkins, WV departed this life early Saturday morning, December 10, 2011 at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born Friday, July 2, 1915 at Madiana, PA a daughter of the late Isaac Edward and Martha Ellen Swartz Greenaway. She was married to the Rev. Ira A. Moore who preceded her in death June 29, 1995. Surviving are one son, Ira Eugene Moore and wife Irene, Ridgeley; one daughter, Juanita Smith, Elkins; one half-sister, Arlene Thomas, Home, PA; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are three brothers, Bill; Marvin; and Charles Greenaway; and one sister, Geraldine Locker.
She attended the schools of Pennsylvania, was a former employee of the Cumberland Memorial Hospital in the Kitchen Department and was a retired Licensed Minister with the Assemblies of God at Gainsville, VA.
A Private Graveside Service will be conducted at the Sunset Memorial Park at Cumberland, MD. The Rev. Darrell Tichinel of Ridgeley will officiate and interment will follow.
